Dexter Theatre presents: Great Day in Starflake County Court! 🎬❄🎅
In November, high academic achieving juniors were honored by Wichita State University with a "Shocker Honors Scholar" reception during evening hours on the campus. Area-wide students who attained a specified GPA or composite ACT score were nominated by their high school and received email and written formal invitations for the event. Accepting and attending from Dexter High School were Micah Brown and Riley Schalk who are seen below with WSU mascot "WuShock". 👏💡🌾
Congratulations to Junior, Brayden Henderson, on receiving Second Team Defense and Honorable Mention Offense for the 2022 SCBL All-League Football selection! 🏈🏅

Spartan Awards here at 6:30 pm for junior high and high school basketball, cheer, baseball, softball,
and track.
THURSDAY– Sports physicals for girls in grades 6 thru 11 at 9:00 am at the clinic. Bring $10 and completed and signed physical forms.

FRIDAY – SCBL HS Track at Udall at 3:00 pm.
TODAY: MS Spartan Track have their SCBL meet at Oxford starting at 1:30pm. GOOD LUCK!!

TODAY: Play Day is Today starting at 12:30. All field events will be inside in the the New and Old gym. Weather permitting-Running events will be on the street. If not, they will be in the New gym.
THURSDAY: the Softball game against Sedan at Cedar Vale has been cancelled.
TONIGHT: Grades 6-12 Music Program starting at 7:00pm.
UPDATE: BB and SB will play at 3:00pm against Central at CV.
This week, in 5th grade, students have been discussing how people overcome obstacles.Today, Robbie Nichols visited our 5th grade classroom to share with our class about how he reads and writes as a person who is blind. He shared how the Braille system works and even had the kids make a “human Braille cell” to make the alphabet. We learned so much and loved having him visit and share worth our class!

The Spartan track team will be heading to Udall this Friday.
Here are the results from the MS Track meet at Caldwell last Thursday. Their last meet will be Thursday, May 2nd at Oxford for SCBL.
The 4th and 5th graders helped clean up Dexter today!
Don’t forget this evening’s K-5 Spring Music Program, featuring the K-3rd Grade performing the musical Squirm, the 5th Grade Band, and the 4th and 5th Grade performing the musical Go West. The concert begins at 7:00pm and is free to attend. Let’s get a great crowd for these awesome students!
